FAQ
What makes Prime Meridian™ different?
What makes Prime Meridian Healthcare different?
Prime Meridian’s Destination Clinic provides traditional acute care for you and your family when you’re sick. But our unique focus on prevention and integrative solutions sets us apart to get you well and keep you well.
When should I see a primary care doctor?
We are a comprehensive primary care facility that can take care of the majority of your family’s health needs. From traditional care like refilling prescriptions, conducting x-rays, treating infections, performing standard physicals and minor procedures like stitches, toenail removal, etc. to offering integrative services, we do it all. We are here to treat you when you’re sick, but we also focus on keeping you well through regular semi-annual visits.
What is integrative care?
Our integrative approach to care combines the best of traditional medicine with the best of holistic and complementary options to allow each patient a choice in their treatment. Our integrative services currently include physical therapy, acupuncture, nutrition counseling, essential oils and supplements, health coaching, and education classes. This form of care allows the provider to understand the patient’s unique circumstances and motivations behind their health goals.
Can you refill my prescription?
Yes! If you need a prescription, we will send it directly to your preferred pharmacy location.
Do you take insurance?
We currently accept insurance from the following carriers: Select Health, Blue Cross, United Healthcare, Aetna, Cigna, Deseret Mutual, Multiplan**, WISE, and Educators Mutual Insurance. Many of our services are covered 100% by your insurance, meaning that you have no copay and no other payment obligations. If you are uninsured, or if you prefer, you can also pay low cash prices. Either way, you will get more healthcare for your money at Prime Meridian™.
I don’t have insurance. Can I be seen at the clinic?
Yes! We believe everyone deserves to have access to life-changing healthcare. That’s why we offer transparent, affordable pricing options for everyone, including discounts to patients who wish to pay cash. If you need labs, x-rays, or other diagnostics, we make these available to you at a very low cost.
Do you offer virtual visits? How do they work?
Yes, we offer virtual and in-office appointments. When you schedule an appointment over the phone or online through the patient portal, you may simply request a telehealth visit. We will provide you with a link to a secure video connection to meet with your provider at the scheduled time. Keep in mind that for optimal care, some visits require you to be physically present.
How do I make an appointment for physical therapy, health coaching, and other related services?
The easiest way to schedule an appointment is through the patient portal. You can also call the clinic to schedule with a receptionist. New patients should call (385) 440–1400 to schedule their first appointment.
I think I might have COVID-19. What should I do?
The health and safety of our patients and community is our number one priority. That is why we are doing our part and taking the necessary precautions to prevent the spread of the virus. We encourage you to take action as well so you can stay healthy. However, if you are experiencing one or more of the following symptoms: fever/chills, cough, shortness of breath, fatigue, muscle/body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion, runny nose, nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea, please call the clinic for further screening.
For more information on COVID-19 testing, call (385) 440–1400.
